Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic:

The Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic provides free legal services to both entrepreneurs and small companies on campus. The services are provided by law students supervised by faculty.

Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF):

WARF is the governing body for inventions, innovation and research on campus. If your business is based around a proprietary product, process or technology you should schedule a consultation with WARF. They will help you analyze the novelty of your idea and could potentially patent it and or license it for you.

Gener8tor:

Gener8tor is a nationally recognized accelerator located in Madison that also provides unique resources for student lead startups. gBETA and gALPHA are seven and four-week programs respectively over which Gener8tor provides its services to local startups free of fees or equity charges. Office hours are also available all year long by appointment.

100 State:

100 State is Wisconsin’s largest co-working space and it is located right on State Street. In addition to providing printing, internet and meeting spaces for its members, 100 State also provides entrepreneurial educational events. At the very least it is a great place to meet other local entrepreneurs.

Small Business Development Center:

The Small Business Development Center is part of the Wisconsin School of Business. From classes to free confidential consulting, the Small Business Development Center is a valuable resource to anyone interested in starting a company.
